We conduct all processes from basic research to manufacturing of gas sensors at the New COSMOS SENSOR CENTER (CSC), one of the world's largest gas sensors R&D and manufacturing facilities, which opened in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture in 2015. The gas sensors installed in our products are developed, manufactured, and inspected at CSC, and are known for their high quality.

We have successfully developed many unique gas sensors , including the MEMS hot wire semiconductor sensor , which is currently attracting attention in a variety of fields.
Since gas sensors are used depending on the type and concentration of the gas they measure, we are constantly researching, developing, improving and applying gas sensors suited to different applications, to continually create gas sensors that meet the needs of the world.

The New Cosmos Electric Group as a whole has one of the world's top production capabilities for gas sensors. In addition to the New Cosmos sensor Center, a mass production system has been established at the sensor factory of FIGARO ENGINEERING INC. , a group company, and a wealth of experience and know-how has been accumulated.
Our automated manufacturing lines ensure high quality and stable supply.
We have accumulated expertise in the development and production of gas sensors for Residential Gas Alarms, of which more than 2 million are produced annually.
Many of our gas sensors sensor manufacturing lines are automated using our own manufacturing equipment, ensuring high quality and stable supply. In addition, we have implemented traceability for some of gas sensors, making it possible to trace manufacturing information in the unlikely event of a malfunction.
