The "gas detectors" and "gas alarm" that we manufacture and sell are safety devices that must function properly in the event of an emergency. For this reason, we take various measures to deliver products of guaranteed quality throughout the entire process, from the development and manufacturing process to when the product is used by the customer. We also have a system in place for after-sales product support and maintenance.

Quality Policy
We are committed to "quality first" and provide quality that meets our customers' expectations and needs and earns their trust and satisfaction.
Quality Management System
Our company has positioned "efforts towards quality" as one of our key management issues, and was the first in Japan to obtain ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality management systems, in the field of industrial and residential gas detector and alarm in 1996. Based on our quality policy, we have established the C-QMS (New Cosmos Quality Management System), and the entire organization is working together to improve the quality of our products and operations.
Long-term Current Test of Residential Gas Alarms
Gas sensors installed in gas alarm and gas detectors have a limited lifespan. For this reason, most of the Residential Gas Alarms we manufacture and sell have a 5-year expiration date. During that time, they are used without maintenance, so we conduct a "long-term electrical test" as part of our quality assurance testing to check whether the gas sensors and other electronic components are functioning normally and how they will behave after the expiration date.

Traceability System
We have implemented a traceability system for the gas sensors we manufacture and the Residential Gas Alarms we assemble at our partner factories. This allows us to identify who made each part, when and where it was made, enabling us to respond to customers more quickly in the unlikely event of a malfunction.
Product Support and Maintenance
Maintenance of industrial gas detectors and gas alarm
Industrial gas detectors and gas alarm are precision instruments. The "gas sensors" installed in them also have a lifespan. Therefore, in addition to daily inspection by the customer, regular maintenance by a professional technician once a year (once every six months for some models) are required. If regular maintenance are not performed, the safety equipment will not be able to perform at its full potential in the event of an emergency, which could pose a risk to life and disaster.
Our group has maintenance bases in 22 locations across the country, and we have a system in place that allows us to respond to requests for regular maintenance as well as emergency dispatch inspections in a short time.

- Establish and adhere to our own regulations and standards that meet all legal requirements regarding health and safety.
- We will allocate appropriate human resources and management resources to carry out safety and health activities.
- Each workplace will have its own safety and health committee draw up plans for safety and health activities and promote activities to improve the work environment. In addition, each branch office or local office will promote safety and health activities at the workplace level.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigate potential risks in the workplace.
- Implement various mental health measures, such as stress checks, to promote the mental and physical health of employees.

Our company is engaged in initiatives centered on "contributing to the local community and society" and "educating children, who will lead the future, about gas safety."

- In order to prevent the "Three Cs" during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have donated a total of 95 "Three Cs Notification System Ventilation Forecast" units, which detect CO2 (carbon dioxide) concentrations and notify ventilation status, to the Mitsuya Shopping Street (Mitsuya Shopping Street Promotion Association) and Mitsuya Elementary School, which are located near head office.
- When large-scale disasters occur both at home and abroad, we send company funds and contributions from employees as relief funds.

Educating Children about Safety
- As a manufacturer of gas alarm, we have accumulated knowledge about the characteristics and dangers of gas. Utilizing this experience, we proactively accept student visits to our company and provide education on gas safety to children, who represent the future.
- We proactively participate in exhibitions for children organized by various organizations, and set up exhibits that allow children to learn about the properties and dangers of gas in a game-like format.
- We have set up a fire testing laboratory at head office to communicate the characteristics and trends of fire and the effectiveness of fire alarm.
