Environmental Policy
Basic Principle
Our company's mission is to "contribute to the creation of a safe, secure and comfortable environment through sensor technology," and in order to achieve this mission, all employees promote resource conservation, energy conservation, recycling, etc. through their daily business activities. In addition, we aim to develop the company and create a comfortable environment by providing technologies, products and services that are in harmony with the global environment.
Basic Policy
In order to carry out environmentally conscious business activities based on our "Basic Philosophy," we set environmental goals and established an environmental management system. We strive for continuous improvement through voluntary audits and other measures based on the basic policy shown below.
- 1. We will continue to work to resolve environmental issues in order to realize a sustainable society.
- 2. We will work to develop and popularize products that contribute to reducing the burden on the environment.
- 3. Promote green purchasing.
- 4. We will strive to promote energy conservation and reduce CO2 emissions in our business activities and at home.
- 5. We will strive to conserve resources, promote recycling, and reduce waste.
- 6. We will comply with environmental laws and regulations and other environmental requirements to which we have agreed, and strive to prevent environmental pollution.
- 7. In order to smoothly implement our environmental management system, we will ensure that all employees are aware of our environmental policy and strive to raise awareness of environmental conservation through education.

Environmental Management
Our company considers "environmental initiatives" to be one of our key management issues, and obtained ISO14001 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems, in March 2000. Based on our environmental policy, we have formulated the C-EMS (New Cosmos Environmental Management System) and are working to develop products that contribute to reducing the environmental impact of our business activities and to reduce CO2 emissions from business activities and households. In addition, we aim to increase the number of human resources who are highly conscious of environmental conservation through environmental education.
