Sustainability Policy
Through gas sensors and gas sensing technology, our group has contributed to the "creation of a safe, secure and comfortable environment," which is our group's mission. Going forward, we will further promote carbon neutrality and initiatives toward the SDGs, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society while aiming to increase sustainable corporate value.
Sustainability Promotion Structure
In order to strengthen our sustainability efforts, our Group has established a new sustainability strategy in our Medium-Term Management Plan 2022-2024. Accordingly, in April 2022, we appointed a person in charge of SDGs in our Corporate Planning Office to promote our sustainability strategy in cooperation with each division. The promotion of sustainability is carried out under the supervision of the Board of Directors and the Representative Director.
Materiality
We contribute to creating a safe, secure and sustainable society.
- Gas sensors and gas sensing can predict and forecast danger, helping to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of workers.
- We will promote our detector business in order to contribute to reducing traffic accidents.
We will work to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to reducing carbon emissions in society.
- We will work to reduce CO2 emissions in our group's business activities.
- We contribute to reducing carbon emissions in society through the sale of CO2 sensor and CO2 monitoring systems.
We aim for sustainable, circular production, taking into consideration everything from procurement to disposal.
- We will work to reduce waste and reuse materials throughout the product lifecycle.
- We will work to establish a system for properly managing and disclosing information about the chemical substances used in our products.
Contributing to the safe use of clean energy
- Through our gas sensors and gas alarm, we support the safe use of energy sources such as hydrogen and ammonia, which contribute to decarbonization efforts.
We will promote diverse working styles and strive to improve job satisfaction.
- We will expand and strengthen investment in our employees, who are our valuable human capital, through education, training, and welfare (health) programs, while also enhancing systems and facilities to accommodate diversifying work styles, in an effort to improve the job satisfaction and productivity of each individual.
- As a global company, we will work to strengthen our governance in line with international standards.
